All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU), Yainpok Branch has expressed serious concerned over delayed in completion of the work for construction of two additional class rooms in all the schools, both in the hills as well as in the valley district districts of Manipur under PMGY, 2004-05.In a statement, Branch president Md Iqbal Shah Kulakpam informed that the students' body has received many complaints related failure of the contractors to execute the work.
He further informed that the students' body would start a campaign to inspect the progress of construction of the rooms in all the schools located within its jurisdiction.
During the course of the inspection, if the quality of the work is found to be not upto the standard, AMSU in co-operation with other local clubs and organisations would take up action against the authorities concerned, he warned.
On the other hand, the students' body has taken serious note against plying laud speakers even late into the night in the name of religious function in an around Yairipok area.
This create disturbance to the students who are appearing in their HSLC examination, the Branch president pointed out and appealed to all concerned to restrain from playing laud music in the interest of the students.
The students' body further appealed to the OC and Invigilators concerned of Yairipok Private Centre to perform their duties sincerely.
AMSU also would take up strict action against those teachers who encourage the students to use unfair means in writing their papers, the statement added.
SEGP forms: The application forms for availing loan under Special Employment Generation Programme (SEGP) submitted to the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Imphal East but have been withheld due to their incomplete nature may be collected by the concerned applicants from the office of the Deputy Commissioner by showing the receipt and the form numbers with effect from April 4 between 11 am to 2 pm, informed a DIPR statement.
