Hectic preparation is underway for the forthcoming grand 21st General Conference of the Naga Students� Federation (NSF) here at Naga Solidarity Park from 19th to 23rd April next.
This time, the NSF has chosen �Structuring Vision� as the theme of their General Conference keeping in view the ongoing Naga political process with the Government of India.
The inner idea of choosing �Structuring Vision� as the theme is that the Naga people should have concrete contour of their future in case there is any settlement out of the ongoing political process, explains Achumbemo Kikon, President of the NSF.
The main attraction of this time�s Conference is that there will be various renowned guests coming from various countries and will be addressing on various topics which are crucial on the future of the Naga people.
Vicky Tauli-Corpuz, Asian Representative to the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous issues, New York and Executive Director, Tebtebba Foundation, Philippines, Raja Devashis Roy, Traditional Chief, Chittagong Hills Tract, Bangladesh, are among others who will be addressing the Conference where the Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio will be the Chief Guest.
Besides Dr Phyobemo Ngully, President, Nagaland Doctor�s Association, Dr Lanu Aier, Reader, Department of Sociology, NEHU, Shillong, Word Vashum, Principal, Accountant General, Guwahati will be resource persons during the five-day long Conference.
