Salaries and pensions of Govt employees for the month of October will be released from November 2.An order to this effect was issued on Oct 30 wherein all previous orders regarding restriction/ban imposed on encashment of Cheque/bills etc have been lifted.
The Govt has lifted the ban from on retirement benefits, medical advances and reimbursements, ex-gratia and relief payment, GPF within the monthly limit upto the month of October 2004, Honorarium for the ICDS Staff upto the month of October 2004, where funds have been authorized by Finance dept (Budget Section), all bills pertaining to (1) Raj Bhavan (2) Assembly secretariat (3) High Court (4) MPSC, grant-in-aid bills pertaining to salaries of grant-in-aid bodies upto the month of October 2004, bills pertaining to electricity charges and water charges booked under detailed head for "Electric and Water charges" without requiring LOC, bills pertaining to payment of interest and repayment of loans availed by the State Govt, Bills pertaining to scholarship/stipend as per rules, wages for casual/contract employees engaged as per rules upto October 2004, leave travel concession as per rules, withdrawal of funds deducted from Salary bills of Govt, employees and deposited in the public account for repayment of loans to lending agencies such as HUDCO, All CDA/LOC/encashment permission issued on or after October 5 where validity has not expired.
