Imphal, November 02:
Highlighting the growing rift between the Vice Chairman (VC) group and General Secretary (GS) group of the PREPAK, former PRO of the VC, Chingkhei alias Loya today said that if the differences are to be patched up, then sincerity on the part of the VC is needed.
Talking to newsmen somewhere at CCpur today, Chingkhei said that he was with the VC group before but later switched allegiance to the GS group after coming to know the intentions of the VC.
Seven of them deserted the VC camp and switched sides to the GS group, said Chingkhei and added that the seven include two Second Lieutenants, Khuman and Ladice, three Red Army cadres, Khomba, Kadam and Kangleima a woman cadre.
The differences within the PREPAK can be sorted out only through frank and sincere discussions, said Chingkhei and added that since he was with the VC earlier, he knows the real intentions of the VC.
Coming straight to the point Chingkhei said that if the VC is not keen on patching up the differences, then his wrong doings will be flashed to the people through the media.
Stating that the need of the time is to patch up all differences in the true spirit of revolutionaries and to protect the image of PREPAK, Chingkhei said that as leader, the VC should lead by examples and demonstrate the traits of a leader.
