Gurgaon Urban Development authorities have asked the State Govt to return the plot which the State Govt had bought at Gurgaon (Haryana) as the State Govt has failed to either utilise or develop the plot.
The plot measuring 14.25 acres in size was bought by the State Govt at the rate of Rs one lakh per acre during the Chief Ministership of RK Ranbir.
According to reports received by the press, Gurgaon Urban Authority has not issued the building certificates to the State Govt till today as the plot has no permanent building structures.
Even though the State Govt had passed a resolution for setting up an institution of the State Govt in the said plot, nothing concrete has been started by the Govt till today, added the report.
It further said that the State Govt is intent on setting up a training centre for art and culture of the state besides opening a handloom and handicraft complex and a lodging centre for travellers from the State.
