Imphal, September 21:
The MSF has appealed to all the State political leaders to stop false propaganda and spreading rumors to cover up their misdeeds.
It has also asked all the ex-MLAs to leave their quarters immediately.
In a statement, MSF said it will be best for the leaders to give in to the appeal of the student body and the general public.
Stating that it is watching every move of the politicians, it said there will be no more appeals.
MSF further said that the acts of the politicians could bring another episode like the Seven Years' Devastation which was the result of the power tussle between Chourjit and Marjit.
The same might come if the politicians do not stop engaging in power battles.
Reminding that the NSCN (IM) ceasefire was about to be extended to the State when the politicians were in the midst of an intense power struggle, the statement added that the former MLAs should rethink how much the people suffered due to the failings of the leaders.
The acts of shedding crocodile tears by the politicians have become an eyesore to the people, the statement added.
Meanwhile MSF president Pheiroijam Nando Luwang has appealed to the Government to stop any kind of corrupt practice in the recruitment of 3rd IRB personnel.
