Imphal, September 14 2012:
The proscribed RPF has claimed responsibility for the bomb attack on foot-patrolling troops of 116th Bn BSF at Heirok, Thoubal district this evening.
A press release issued by the outfit's Secretary Publicity T Leisemba said that the bomb attack was carried out by a Special Warfare Group of the PLA.
Claiming that the attack caused casualties to the Indian military, it asserted that the PLA is able to carry forward its assault on the Indian military successfully with the help of the people.
This is a clear proof of the close coordination between freedom fighters and the mass.
Instead of giving due respect and honour whenever any Indian military personnel is killed or maimed, the Indian authorities have been trying to cover up their casualty.
This has severely demoralised Indian military personnel deployed in the alleged occupied territory of Manipur.
In the meantime, India's defeat to Manipur has started unveiling.
The outfit also appealed to the people not to obey the Indian military's command to clear bushy road-sides and hedges in the wake of PLA's series of bomb attacks.
People should try to defeat the Indian military's strategy to use innocent civilians as their shield in the face of bombs planted by PLA in every suitable place across the State.
In case, people are compelled to clear bushy areas, the Indian military personnel should be asked to first ascertain that there is no bomb in the area, the outfit advised.
Moreover, due wages should be demanded from the Indian military.
Nowadays, wages are being paid even under dictatorship and monarchy.
As such, the Indian military has no authority to force the people to unpaid labour, it asserted.
