ADC election Zeliang kicks off NPF campaign

Nagaland CM TR Zeliang and Dr Sh�rhozelie Liezietsu, president, NPF Central Hqs, Kohima today kicked off the Naga Peoples' Front (NPF) campaign for the Autonomous District Council election for 2015 at Senapati public ground, Senapati DHqs.
With a huge turnout, the campaign was kicked off in the presence of Minister Kiyanilie, Minister Patton, Minister Longon, Minister Dr Nicky, Minister Nokhulo Toshi, Minister Sangtam, Minister Itachu, Neiba Krono, Thonwang Advisor, Working President Huska, Dr Alexander Pao MLA, L Dikho MLA, Awangbow Newmai, president, NPF, MSU, Neiba Krono, Parliamentary Secretary & Ministerial in-charge of NPF, MSU, NPF candidates who have been elected unchallenged, NPF candidates, NPF executive members, Church leaders, social leaders and supporters from various villages.
Speaking to the crowd, Dr Sh�rhozelie Liezietsu said "Let this rally be a good beginning for the hill people of the State of Manipur and help them know more of what are and what lay ahead of them".
He said "Without discipline, no organization can survive; without discipline, unity is not possible and without unity it is not possible for that organization to achieve its goal" .
He declared "anybody who wants to be a member of this political party should understand and abide by the provisions of our Constitution" .
Dr Sh�rhozelie Liezietsu expressed that the NPF is a party to provide common platform for 20 Constituencies in Manipur Legislative Assembly to stand together to defend the right of their people so that the hill people receive their due share in the development as well as in recognition of human dignity.
Since they are advanced with the knowledge of Parliamentary system, he requested the Meities to play the role of big brother and continue to live together in good relation and understanding.
Concluding his speech he pleaded, "every thing cannot come to your term but do not forget that we are a highly democratic people.
I want all our party leaders to be broad minded and to accommodate the views of one another" .
TR Zeliang, Chief Minister of Nagaland said "We have discovered little changes in the atmosphere of Manipur.
Last time when we came to launch the NPF in Senapati, the situation was not good.
"The Home Ministry, Manipur Government did not cooperate and tried to restrain us from coming to Manipur.
But today Manipur Chief Minister cooperated and he has sent escorts and securities and led us to this place, and that is called real democracy", Zeliang stated.
"Everybody has to function in their own way and tomorrow if he comes to Nagaland, we would warmly welcome him", he added.
He mentioned that Nagas are one and should remain united.
He urged the people not to lose heart or hope because in every Naga blood there is an undying desire to bring the Nagas together under one administrative unit.
He conveyed that the Nagaland Legislative Assembly has passed resolutions four times for unification of all contagious Naga inhabited area under one umbrella and this is yet to be fulfilled.
He appealed to the public so that the Nagas can share the bond of unity through emotions and social integration and ultimately fulfil the dream of Nagas.
