Imphal, May 12 2015 :
Two persons have been killed during interrogation by a militant group apart from assaulting a 12 year old student on the allegations that they are informers of an underground outfit.
The injured 12 year old student is undergoing treatment at RIMS in a critical condition.
According to K Momo, uncle of the injured student identified as Konthoujam Bishal (12) s/o K Bikom of Haobam Marak Lourembam Leikai, Bishal is a class 6 student of Negi Home Academy, a residential school located at Maipou Khullen under Gamnom Sapermeina police station.
He said that he is working there at the school as a teacher.
Bishal and two other persons identified as Abung and Premanand, aged around 20 were staying in the school working as masons since the past 15 days.
All three of them were reported missing from Sunday at around 10.30 am.
However, a phone call from a UG group informed that all three of them were with the militant group.
Soon after, family members of Bishal conveyed the matter and urged the Deputy Chief Minister to secure the safe release of the trio yesterday.
Momo said that the militants asked the family members to come to an isolated place located some 5 Kms away from the residential school which is hilly and wooded.
Accordingly, ten family members of the 12 year boy including Momo went to the spot.
On reaching the spot, they were taken to a house which is separated from other houses and asked to seat there for a while and played an audio recording which they had taken during interrogation of the three abducted persons.
In the audio recording, the 12 year old allegedly confessed that he was with KCP.
After a gap of a few hours, the UG group informed that the two other died during interrogation.
