Issuing a stern warning to all Govt Depts to abide by the directives given by PREPAK, the outfit today claimed that Laishram Chura Singh, finance advisor to the Electricity Dept, was punished with a bullet in the leg on December 26 for not heeding the conditions imposed by the outfit and for trying to take advantage of the internal problems within PREPAK.
In a statement, assistant secretary of the outfit's dept of publicity and propaganda today said that if the conditions set on the Electricity Dept are not heeded then punishment will be given without any warning.
The same rule will also apply to other depts, said the outfit adding that the authority concerned will be targeted.
The outfit further said that Ng Naoba alias Momo (24) was awarded the capital punishment on December 16 as he had violated the dictums of PREPAK for his personal gains.
Listing his misdeeds, PREPAK said he was involved in extorting Rs 2 lakhs from a Dept at Sanjenthong, misplacing a vehicle and a 9 mm pistol of the party, extorting Rs 30,000, Rs 10,000 and Rs 50,000 from brick kilns at Pangei area, serving a demand notice on a gas agency, taking Rs 50,000 from an MLA in collaboration with two persons, Ratan from Yorbung and Ibungo, taking Rs 10,000 from a contractor.
