CCCs set up for Keirao, Keishamthong ACs

In the aftermath of increasing number of Covid-19 positive cases, Covid Care Centres are being set up in different assembly constituencies to provide healthcare service to Covid patients.
On Wednesday, CCCs of Keirao and Keishamthong assembly constituencies were set up at State TB Hospital and Imphal College respectively.
Keirao MLA L Rameshwar opened the CCC at the State TB Hospital at Keirao Wangkhem on Wednesday morning with several patients housed in the centre from Wednesday itself.
The hospital has two ventilators, 50 beds with attached toilets and medical staff.
At the event, the MLA appealed to all concerned to refrain from bringing political issues amid the pandemic, and to stop public gathering and feasts as well as lottery/tender.
On the other hand, MLA L Jayantakumar opened the CCC for Keishamthong AC at Imphal College with a capacity of 60 beds in the presence of Imphal West CMO Thokchom Nandakishwar, IMC Ward No 12 member P Premita, Singjamei PS SDPO Th Luxmi, Imphal West SDC Rishikanta Loitongbam and Imphal West SDO S Surchan-dra.
The MLA lauded the local volunteers, who offered to manage the centre and assured possible help from his side as well as from the government.
