PNB donates medical kits to Ukhrul DH

Imphal, January 11 2022:
Punjab National Bank (PNB) on Tuesday donated medical equipment worth Rs 10 lakh to District Hospital, Ukhrul as part of the bank's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.
The medical equipment was handed over by PNB Imphal Circle chief manager S Stevan Aimol to medical superintendent of the district hospital Dr Reishangmi Raikhan and CMO Dr A S Kapangring.
Briefly speaking on the occasion, Stevan Aimol praised the selfless contributions of doctors and nurses in saving precious lives and mentioned that the medical equipment donated will help in up-scaling the medical facilities in the district.
Further, he announced that PNB will contribute in the overall development of the district.
The handing over ceremony was also attended by PNB marketing officer Raj Kamal Roy, senior manager Somayo Siro, manager Komuni Krichena and staff members of the hospital.
In his speech, Dr Reishangmi thanked the contribution made by PNB and said that the equipment will be of great help to the people of the district.
