Imphal, November 11:
After 2 of the 20 injured in the November 8 grenade blast at Alu Gali succumbed to their injuries, one person admitted to RIMS Hospital was operated today resulting in the amputation of the right leg.
Surgeons who operated on Md Ayub Khan s/o Md Yaima of Paobitek Mayai Leikai today had to amputate the right leg in order to prevent aggravation of the bomb splinter wounds.
He had sustained injuries on both the legs, left arm and at the back.
The 38 year old man has five children and his wife is said to be in an advanced stage of pregnancy.
Ayub Khan is said to be a salesman of Aman Enterprises, the intended target of KYKL�s bomb attack on that fateful day.
So far two persons had succumbed to injuries.
