Imphal, August 27 2021:
JNIMS Teachers' Association has appealed to individuals and organisations not to interfere in development works being taken up at JNIMS and efforts being made to properly run the lone government medical institution.
According to a statement of the Association, professor L Deben took charge of JNIMS director around one and half months back but the new director has taken up several steps to improve patient care and encourage health workers during the short period and even visited red zones including Covid ward.
The service of employees of JNIMS improved since the professor took charge as director while cleanliness at JNIMS campus including dental college has improved a lot.
Working atmosphere at administrative and hospital has improved since the new director took charge, the statement said.
The statement then appealed to CSOs and stakeholders to help in the effort to make JNIMS a prominent medical institution and assured of extending all possible help to the effort being made under the leadership of professor Deben so as to develop the medical institute.
