One fresh case takes active tally to 3

Imphal, June 20 2022:
Number of active cases of Covid-19 in the state rose to three on Monday with one new case detected out of 59 samples tested in the last 24 hours, thus, registering positivity rate of 1.7 per cent.
The fresh case is a female resident from Imphal East district.
Meanwhile, no recoveries were reported on Monday A total of 264 D-type and 164 B-type Oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities in the last 24 hours while only 143 vaccine doses were administered on Sunday.
It took the cumulative number of vaccinated population to 15,85,867, out of which 12,49,802 had received second doses and 1,04,090 had taken precautionary doses.
Data analysed by this daily shows that the rate of infection remains 44,230 confirmed cases per million population (based on projected population of 31,03,000 as per NCP report) against the national average of 30,791 CPM.
Test rate has improved to 5,20,162 tests per million population against the national average of 6,09,886 TPM.
Case fatality rate stands at 1.54 per cent while the recovery rate stands at 98.45 per cent.
The cumulative positivity rate stands 8.50 per cent.
