Education minister, Board chairman wish examinees

Education minister Th Basanta Kumar Singh has extended his warm wishes and greetings to the class-X students (2022-23) batch who are appearing in the High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLCE) 2023 to be conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (BSEM) from March 16 to April 3 .
In his message, minister Basanta stated that education is not just a process of gaining knowledge for a future job but a lifelong process which creates an understanding of moral and ethical values to guide one's life in the right path.
"The first and foremost thing about exams is never to be scared of them.
Each examination is succeeded by preparatory time, which must be utilised optimally.
If you do it, you will love to take any exam.
The second thing about exams is to give your hundred per cent near the exams to studies.
Don't panic.
Revise as much as you can with proper breaks.
Don't lose heart.
If you give your best efforts, the results will be rewarding", he advised.
"Exam time is challenging for all of us.
I am sure that with our encouragement, the hard work of the children will definitely pay off.
As an education minister and as a father, I wish to encourage all children.
Wishing you all the very best for your future education", Basanta said.
BSEM chairman Akham Joykumar Singh also extended his warm wishes and best greetings to the class-X students.
In his message, Joykumar stated that students should believe in themselves, be positive about their success and have the confidence that they can do well in the examination.
"An examination is not only a test of your academic knowledge, but it is also a test of your calmness, stability and courage.
I wish all the very best for your upcoming HSLCE 2023", he said.
