KIYDO hands over monetary aid, PPE kits to ambulance drivers

Imphal, July 31 2021:
In a bid to motivate and pay respect to the Ambulance drivers who are carrying out their duties amid the pandemic, Kumbi Ideal Youth Development Organisation (KIYDO), Kumbi yesterday handed over a monetary aid of Rs 2,000 and PPE.kit to the Ambulance service provider from Borayangbi, Md Abdul.
Speaking on the occasion, KIYDO Kumbi president, Khangembam Netaji Meetei stated that the assistance was provided to recognise the efforts of Md Amdul who has been providing ambulance service using an Eeco Van to transport COVID-19 positive persons of Kumbi AC.
He also urged the people to appreciate and recognise the service provided by the Ambulance drivers who are carrying out their duties even amid the increasing number of COVID-19 infections in the State.
Md Abdul also expressed his gratitude to KIYDO Kumbi for the assistance.
The programme was attended by KIYDO Kumbi, treasurer Inaobi Nongmaithem and other members.
It may also be mentioned that KIYDO Kumbi has also been looking after the Community Isolation Centre at Kumbi Awang High School.
The centre is currently accommodating 45 inmates.
