Sharda junks rumours on CMs Delhi trip

BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda has refuted the rumour of a possible leadership change, which has cropped up in the backdrop of the recent visit of chief minister N Biren to Delhi along with her and works minister Th Biswajit.
Interacting with the media on the sidelines of the closing ceremony of the photo exhibition held as part of Seva Aur Samarpan at JN Manipur Dance Academy here on Sunday, Sharda said that the Delhi trip was to discuss strategy for the forthcoming state assembly election and the rumour is unfounded.
Regarding the photo exhibition, she said that Narendra Modi is a dynamic leader, who loves to help the poor right from his childhood.
Political parties exist for the service of the public and winning election and having power is must to serve the public effectively.
Every political leader should understand the value of every voter, she said while maintaining that the party is confident that it will secure two-third of the total seats of the state in the 2022 election.
BJP Manipur Pradesh vice-presidents Th Basanta & Meena, general secretaries Premananda Meetei & L Deben, and vice-president cum exhibition in-charge Chidananda attended the closing ceremony as the presidium members.
