Zeliangrong Youth Front (Assam, Manipur & Nagaland)/ZYF (AMN) has extended its best wishes on the occasion of Gaan-Ngai 2014 celebration which will commence from 13th of this month.
Conveying the greetings through a statement, President of ZYF (AMN) Titus Kamei said, "Let the celebration of Gaan-Ngai usher the Zeliangrong people on the path of peace and development, progress and prosperity.
Let this festival be the opportunity for Zeliangrong community to propagate the message of love and peace to all humankind and to exemplify their beautiful and colorful costumes fabrics which signify rich custom, cultures and traditional heritage.
The Zeliangrong Youth Front wishes all the Zeliangrong people celebrating Gaan-Ngai festival a grand success" .
League of the Fourth World People, Kangleipak has also extended its warm greeting to the people of Manipur on the joyous occasion of Gaan-Ngai, the greatest festival of Zeliangrong community.
A press release of the organization said that the Gaan-Ngai is a celebration of tradition and culture of Zeliangrong community and wished that may the festival spread the message of peace and co-existence in the State.
All Manipur Ethnical Socio-Cultural Organization (AMESCO) has also warmly greeted the people of the State particularly the Kabui brethren on the auspicious occasion of Gaan-Ngai festival.
In a press note, AMESCO prayed for a peaceful co-existence amongst the different communities and prosperity in the State with the arrival of the festival and informed that as done in past years, the organization will be celebrating the festival on January 15 at Ramji Kabui village with its residents.
