Imphal, March 11 2019:
The Manipur Naga People's Front (MNPF) celebrated its 6th raising day at its general headquarters, mobile battalions, unit and all departments, conveyed a press release issued by the outfit deputy secretary MK Mashun.
Apart from saluting the party's flag, MNPF also offered revolutionary salutes to all the revolutionary cadres who had laid down their lives in the course of the liberation movement of Manipur.
Speaking on the occasion, MNPF Chairman John Kashung Francis said that Manipur is the common home of many communities and Manipur would never be complete without any of these communities.
He said that no one should do anything which contradicts the people's common yearning for unification and unity in the face of the Government of India's persistent divide and rule policy.
In order to promote unity among all communities of Manipur, each and every community ought to uphold the principle of peaceful co-existence with mutual respect.
People need to identify the real enemy and wage a collective war of liberation, John Francis said.
If all the indigenous communities shoulder due responsibilities to protect the integrity of Manipur, the liberation movement would also be definitely victorious, he asserted.
He also conveyed gratitude to all the people of Manipur and fraternal revolutionary groups of WESEA for their support to MNPF.
