One fresh case takes active tally to 10

Imphal, June 02 2022:
The total number of Covid-19 active cases in the state has reached 10 on Thursday as government bulletins reported one fresh case, out of 93 samples tested in the last 24 hours, showing a positivity rate of 1.08 per cent.
No recoveries or death cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
The lone fresh case is a resident of Imphal West districts.
All the 10 active cases are in home isolation.
Till date, the pandemic has claimed 2120 lives including seven CAPF personnel and infected 1,37,241 individuals including 5,014 CAPF personnel.
So far, the state has recorded 11,453 positive cases and 118 fatalities since the beginning of the third wave of the pandemic.
A total of 353 D-type, 21 B-type Oxygen and 6 B-Type cylinders have been made available to different health facilities in the last 24 hours and 2167 vaccine doses administered on Thursday which took the cumulative number of vaccinated population to 15,71,036.Data analysed by this daily shows that the rate of infection remains 44,228 confirmed cases per million population (based on projected population of 31,03,000 as per NCP report) against the national average of 30,702 CPM.
Test rate has improved to 5,19,848 tests per million population against the national average of 6,05,530 TPM.
Case fatality rate stands at 1.54 per cent while the recovery rate stands at 98.45 per cent.
The cumulative positivity rate stands at 8.51 per cent.
