Imphal, May 23 2018: Left party today staged protest across the country against the Narendra Modi Government today.

In Manipur too, the left wing political parties in the state today stage a mass protest by organising a public meeting at GM Hall here in Imphal.

"This a protest against the anti people policy and communalisation being underway by the Narendra Modi Govt.", Dr.Nara State Secretary of the CPI Manipur State Branch said to media persons at the sideline of the function.

Nara further said that the left wing party of the state of Manipur too in coordination with the people of the state is on the move to built peoples' unity against injustice .

Narendra Modi Government has completed 4 years of rule.

They may celebrate 4 years of governance.

We are also staging against the anti people economy policy of the Modi government which has cheated the common people.

"What has the Narendra Modi Government done for the people of the country since he came to power?", Dr.Nara asked and said that he had promise to bring all the black money and following that his government had demonetized the currency.

"Modi had said that his government will fill money to the account of all the common men by the black money.

Whether he is able to bring the black money hidden abroad by the rich Indian?" , Dr.Nara asked.

No person has ever got even single rupees.

Nara also said that many people have lost their live in the course of demonetization and the real sufferance of the demonetization is the grass root, Modi government never felt about it, Nara said.

Modi government is of the corporate, for the corporate and the by the government, Nara said and added that the party is funded by the corporate and voters are bought by the money from the corporate.

Nara further said that democratic and progressive forces will stand against the price hike in petrol and diesel and misgovernance.
