Mass vaccination programme conducted

Thoubal/Bishnupur, July 04 2021: Under the aegis of Thoubal district administration, Wangkhem Gram Panchayat pradhan, Covid Task Force Yairipok Singa and Singa Ideal Club jointly conducted mass Covid-19 vaccination programmes at different parts of the GP on Sunday.

During the vaccination programmes held at Yairipok Singa Mathak Leikai Lower Primary School and Yairipok Singa Makha Leikai Market Shed under Wangkhem GP, a total of 399 people were administered Covid-19 vaccine.

During the programme, social worker Kharibam Jivan of Wangkhem assembly constituency also distributed face masks, sanitizers, water bottles, etc., to the volunteers.

Meanwhile, Seva Hi Sangathan 2 Committee, BJP Oinam Mandal organised a mass vaccination programme for denizens of Ward No 1 to 6 of Toubul GP at Ibudhou Sorarel community hall on Sunday.

The vaccination programme was attended by MPCB & KVIB chairman and Oinam MLA L Radhakishor Khuman, Nambol SDO/BDO Ch Bobo, BJP Oinam Mandal president Th Mangi, Kei-nou GP pradhan and Oinam Mandal Covid-19 Protocol convener Ng Sovana Devi.

On the other hand, Toubul GP Covid Task Force in collaboration with Toubul Welfare Association, TYDA, YPC, IASDO, Gold Star Gym, TKYC, ARROW, TALSA, VTYdO and Toubul Apunba Meira Paibi Lup conducted a similar mass vaccination programme against Covid-19 at Ibudhou Yangoiningthou community hall, Toubul on Sunday.
