Imphal, July 04 2021:
All Manipur 10th and 11th IRB Riflemen 2019 JAC of Viva Completed Candidates has urged the state government to stop the habit of issuing job recruitment notices ahead of elections.
In a statement, the JAC said that trying to imitate the bad works of veteran politicians, especially during this era of "Youth for Change" is embarrassing in front of neighbouring states and countries.
The present government is following in the steps of previous governments in carrying out mass job recruitments ahead of polls, but then abandoning the people at the last stage.
"The present government has the trust of the people, who only want to see it working sincerely.
As such, it should try its level best to uphold this trust", it contended.
Thus, the government should announce the results of 10th and 11th IRB Rifle 2019 before the polls, failing which various intense forms of agitations will be launched across the state, it warned.
