Political accident led to misstep, says Subhaschandra

While stating that he had to let go of the MLA post due to a political accident, ex-Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC MLA S Subhaschandra has appealed to the people of the constituency to take into account his servitude of 3 years and re-elect him in the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly elections.
While taking part in the gravelling of the Mongansangei-Senapati Loukol road on Sunday, Subhaschandra said that the route is one of the most important routes in the area but had remained neglected for a long time.
As such, he utilised Rs 1 lakh of the MLA LADF to begin gravelling of the road in 2018 .
The work was resumed recently to avoid hardships to the people during the monsoon season; he said and assured of continuing to extend all possible help in future, including construction of an IVR road under PWD in the next term.
Regarding the ongoing dredging works of Waisel Maril, the ex-MLA further recalled the developments works taken up by him including blacktopping works, water supply schemes and various other work programmes.
"I resigned from being an MLA due to a political accident and a case in the matter is currently being contested in the court.
I am only waiting to hear the final judgment which has been reserved by the court.
However, I had come forward to serve the people and have been doing so even after resigning from the post", Subhaschandra said and appealed to the denizens of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC to reelect him in the upcoming elections.
