SDSA, KSO Sadar Hills denounce APDS as invalid

Analyzing the prevailing situation among the disable people organizations in Senapati district today in a joint meeting at SDSA office, Senapati; Senapati District Student's Association (SDSA) and Kuki Students' Organization Sadar Hills(KSO-SH) have declared Association of Persons with Disability Senapati (APDS) as baseless and invalid organisation.
A Joint Declaration signed by Thangminlen Kipgen, President of KSO Sadar Hills and Dominic Th.Azuna, President of SDSA said that after taking into account of frequent allegations against one another among the disable people organizations in the district, today's meeting minutely analyzed the prevailing the situation among the disable people organizations and it came to light that APDS emerged only after the existence of All Disable Union Sadar Hills(ADUSH) and Senapati Disable People Association Manipur(SDPAM), which are the only recognized disabled bodies in Senapati.
In the meantime, the two student bodies have appealed to ARCS Kangpokpi to cancel the registration of APDS immediately.
The two apex student bodies further urged all Government establishments, administration, NGOs, Civil Organizations and the general public not to entertain or recognized APDS for any purpose.
