The Bengal Eastern Frontier Regulation 1873 which was approved by the Manipur Assembly session for two times on June 12, 2012 and July 13, 2013 is being rejected by the centre.
The regulation was also approved by the State cabinet but on the contrary an infamous bill was introduced in the assembly following disapproval of the Bengal Eastern Frontier Regulation 1873 said Sapamcha Jadumani chairman of IPAK.
Jadumani in a press meet held at the office of Indigenous People's Association of Kangleipak said that in Delhi Kejriwal is taking active role in the public movement.
If such proactive roles had been taken up in the State by the representatives the unfortunate incident of losing a precious life of a student could have been avoided.
Without a proper law on the regulation of the visiting outsiders the influx is becoming like a flood, claimed Jadumani.
He also stated that local clubs and women organisation should take a proactive role in preventing any untoward incident which might create a communal outbreak.
