SEACO celebrates 3rd b'day

South East Asia Cultural Organization (SEACO) celebrated its third foundation day at Lamyanba Shanglen, Palace Compound here today.
The foundation day was attended by Joint Director of Art and Culture Department Sapam Bheigyachandra as Chief Guest and President of SEACO Koijam Brojen as President, while Dean of CAU Dr N Iboton, President of AMUCO Dr Y Mani Khuman, President of UCM Nabachandra Yumnam, President of ACOAM Lup Ksh Somorendro, President of IPSA E Johnson and President of CLK Th Tampakleima attended as Guests of Honour.
Speaking on the occasion, President of UCM Nabachandra Yumnam observed that culture changes with time, but the youths should not spoil the rich culture of the State by assimilating with other alien cultures.
Everyone must be proud of one's culture and should bring up to the best level, he exhorted.
He further said that the people of Manipur are constantly facing harsh impact of neo-colonialism.
All communities should live in peace and harmony and protect the territorial integrity of the State, Nabachandra appealed.
