Medilane Ambulance Thoubal branch inaugurated

Thoubal, February 10 2021:
The Thoubal branch office of Medilane Ambulance was inaugurated today at Khangabok BASU ground.
The inaugural programme was attended by Thoubal district Superintendent of Police, Dr S Ibomcha as the chief guest.
Addressing the programme, Dr S Ibomcha highlighted the benefits provided by the Medilane Ambulance to the people of the State.
He stated that Thoubal district has a high accident rate compared to other districts as the number of accidents on National Highway-102 is quite high.
The mortality rate for such accidents is unfortunately on the higher side without proper ambulance service.
The SP lauded Medilane Ambulance for their assurance to provide free ambulance service for emergency cases.
Thoubal District Hospital, Medical Superintendent, Dr Ch Memcha, who attended the programme as the guest of honour mentioned that the number of ambulance is still insufficient for the district.
Dr Memcha appreciated the endeavour of Medilane Ambulance to provide ambulance service to help the people of the State.
Medilane, Managing Director, Dr M Dayananda (Pibarel) stated that since the initiation of Medilane 4 years ago, Medilane Ambulance has been providing ambulance services to the people of Imphal successfully.
The Thoubal district branch has been established to address the delay in transporting the patients to hospitals so that they may get timely medical care, even in emergency cases, he added.
Dr M Dayananda appealed to the people to support and assist the Medilane Ambulance and stated that in the past 4 years, out of the total 1500 cases received by Medilane Ambulance, 1200 have been rendered for free to save the lives of the patients without the constraint of money.
He assured that Medilane is providing services for free in road accidents and other emergency cases.
Dr M Dayananda further mentioned that recently a 3 month old baby Was also air-shifted successfully from Imphal to Kolkata for timely medical treatment by Medilane.
The programme was also attended by Padma Medicare, Managing Director, Dr A Vivekananda; Slopeland Public School Khongjom, Principal, Nahakpam Babulin and retired scientist, N Ibomcha.
