3 more infected by Covid-19

Imphal, September 09 2022:
Government bulletins on Friday reported three new positive cases of Covid-19 from three districts, out of 386 samples tested in the last 24 hours, and registered test positivity rate of 0.8 per cent.
The three fresh cases include one each female from Bishnupur and Ukhrul districts.
The third patient is a CAPF jawan posted in Senapati district.
Friday also reported five recoveries following which the number of active cases came down to 35, out of which 24 are in home isolation No death case was reported on Friday and the toll remains at 2148 including seven CAFF personnel.
So far, the virus had infected 1,39,755 individuals including 5,021 CAPF personnel.
There are 36 vacant beds available in JNIMS and 62 in RIMS.
In the last 24 hours, 87 D-type and 7 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities and 2612 vaccine doses administered that took the cumulative number of vaccinated population to 16,36,097, out of which 13,12,151 had received the second dose and 2,52,872 had taken the precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49800), Imphal East (32023), Thoubal (10290), Churachandpur (11278), Kangpokpi (3183), Tamenglong (3496), Bishnupur (9977), Senapati (2546), Ukhrul (3364), Kakching (6973), Chandel (2792), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1210), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1053), and Pherzawl (477) .
