Cabinet discusses regularization of ad-hoc employees

Imphal, July 29 2013:
The matter related to regularization of ad-hoc employees in various government departments of the State was discussed during a Cabinet meeting held today.
However, a final decision has been taken and it was decided to discuss the matter further in the next Cabinet meeting.
Informing this to media persons, Minister Moirangthem Okendro, who is also spokesperson of the State Government, said that the Cabinet meeting today discussed the matter related to regularization of ad-hoc employees.
The discussion lasted for quite long but it was finally decided to continue the discussion in the next Cabinet meeting.
He further informed that the Cabinet meeting also decided to fill up the vacant posts of four Executive Officers of the Municipal Councils of Thoubal, Kakching, Nambol and Moirang through Manipur Public Service Commission.
Today's State Cabinet also gave its approval to filling up of vacant posts in the Assembly Secretariat.
However, the exact number of posts to be filled up has not yet been decided, he said.
Establishment of new rules and regulation to maintain the Guests House of Manipur District Council was also taken up for discussion during the Cabinet meeting today, he added.
