Boy beaten up by 'Director'

Imphal, April 18 2013:
A boy of ten years was reportedly threatened and mercilessly beaten up black and blue by an elderly man, who is said to be a 'Director' and is planning to contest in the next general election, over a minor issue of sitting arrangement in the tuition centre, where his son also goes.
The incident occurred on April 13 at around 3:30 pm at Palace Compound under Porompat Police Station.
The victim boy has been identified as Rahish Khan Aribam.
He is presently studying in Heritage Convent School and staying along with his parents at Postal Colony, Palace Compound.
The accused elderly man has also been identified as Wahidur Rehman of Keirao Makting Makha Leikai but presently staying in State Guest House at Sanjenthong.
An FIR has been lodged with Porompat Police Station by the family members on April 14 but the accused person is yet to be arrested by the police till today.
