Chandel ADC Candidates deny false allegation

12 Chandel District ADC candidates jointly clarified the false allegation by the one Independent candidate TS Willingson Anal.
In a joint press statement issued by candidates namely Hulang David Anal (Independent); PS Ngamnung Anal (NPF); HT Kilaching (Independent) and SR Ngamhlung (BJP) candidates have clarify the false allegations charged by another Independent candidate Willingson Anal.
They said the allegation was unfounded and baseless.
It may be mentioned, in some daily newspapers TS Willingson Anal through his chief Agent Sng larson has written to DEO demanding to disqualification of the four candidates alleging proxy votes and waving party flags within the polling area.
On clarifying the statement Independent candidate Hulang David Anal said that it was unfortunate they were falsely charged by one Independent candidate saying the election which was held on June 1 was repolled due to having evidence of proxy voting and high handedness of the said TS Willingson Anal as the polling station was located within the 20 meters from his resident.
On June 6 (repoll day) all the candidates jointly inspected the polling centre at Kanan Khu Primary School and after they have stayed away from the polling station with according the norms put up by the election commission, he also clarified that all the 5 candidates have not defy the rules and regulations of the election commission and did not used any of their respective party flags within the restricted parameter of the polling area.
SR Ngamhlun lamented that the candidates have stayed at a distance till the end of the polling time on the repoll day and added that there was no evidence of proxy voting but it was a free and fair voting.
He said that any person can have survey or conduct interviews to the polling agents and other officials for fact finding.
Chief agent Alex D remarked that before the ADC election a memorandum was submitted to the DC about the particular polling station Kanankhu Primary School and two others for shifting to other sites as those were hyper sensitively located but it was unfortunately not addressed.
He also said that with the permission from the authority checked the ballot box and found no sign of proxy voting.
