Nagaland commercial hub Dimapur will witness shut down by Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) on December 3 demanding removal of Nagaland's Health and Family Welfare Minister Imkong L Imchen from the Ministry of Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN) .
NPCC calls the former Nagaland Home Minister Imkong L Imchen as 'tainted and charge-sheeted' Minister.
Imkong L Imchen was caught by security force personnel while transporting Rs 1 crore and weapons during the 2013 February Assembly election of Nagaland.
Imkong was the Home Minister then.
He is the leader of Naga Peoples Front (NPF) .
NPCC has warned of calling more intense bandhs during the ongoing Hornbill Festival unless the tainted Minister is removed from the Ministry.
Earlier on November 29, effigies of Imkong L Imchen were burnt in Kohima by the NPCC volunteers in protest.
Meanwhile, Tuesday's NPCC bandh will begin from 6 am and ends at 6 pm.
It has appealed to all business establishments and the people to extend their co-operation.
NPCC said it will restrict shops from opening, vehicular movements, staffs of railways and airport, banks and Government offices in Dimapur during the bandh.
