New Delhi, December 02 2013 :
The all political delegation led by the Chief Minister which left Imphal for Delhi yesterday to impress upon the Central leaders to stop the ongoing border fencing work is set to meet the Prime Minister tomorrow evening.
Excepting the MPP and the BJP representatives of all political parties in Manipur decided to proceed to Delhi and present Manipur's case, following the hue and cry that the State stands to lose a large chunk of her territory to Myanmar as the border fencing has come up inside the territory of Manipur.
Other than the Prime Minister, the all political party delegations are set to meet other Central leaders, including the Union Home Minister Shushil Kumar Shinde, Defence Minister AK Antony, External Affairs Minister SM Krishna and others and present Manipur's case succinctly.
However not all the meetings with the other Central leaders have been confirmed and as such it is not yet clear when the team will return to Imphal.
The Chief Minister, who is leading the team is expected to address the media on Wednesday and brief them on the developments.
This is again dependent on the meeting schedules with the other Central leaders.
On the other hand, the Chief Minister will meet Manipuris to campaign for the Delhi election scheduled to be held tomorrow.
