Imphal, March 13 2015 :
Manipur Students' Federation (MSF) has said there is need to procure a viral testing equipment to detect Swine Flu cases in Manipur.
Manipur Government should purchase equipment for testing H1N1 virus and this facility should be arranged quickly, MSF president Kh Serajuddin demanded at a press meet at the federation office here at Top Leirak on Friday.
He criticized wearing mask by people in the State in the wake of Swine Flu deaths, saying price of mask has increased unreasonably in the market.
"Mask which cost Rs 10 is now sold at Rs 300-350.This is really unfortunate," Serajuddin said.
The MSF leader pledged to take action with the help of the public against selling of mask at higher price.
He demanded the State Government to bring a solution to the prevailing situation where an option has been left with all educational institutions to declare holiday in the wake of outbreak of Swine Flu.
