KhSOv GHQ expresses gratitude to CM

Khongsai, July 22 2019:
Though two years had passed, the Khongsai Students' Organisation (KhSO) still remembers the help rendered by Chief Minister N Biren Singh to Johnson Khongsai who secured 19th position in the HSLC Examination 2017 (BOSEM) .
Despite belonging to an impoverished family in remote corner of Churachandpur district, Johnson secured that position by sheer hardwork, inspite of being brought up by his poor widowed mother.
Chief Minister donated Rs 2 lakh in recognition of the hardships faced by Johnson and as an act of encouraging him.
The KhSO expressed its unreserved gratitude to the State Government under Chief Minister N Biren Singh who had helped Johnson and his family with a Housing Scheme and financial assistance for his further studies.
As advised by the CM, Rs 1 lakh was spent on Johnson's house construction and another 1 lakh was fixed deposited on joint account by the KhSO.
Upon maturity, KhSO GHQ and Johnson Khongsai had withdrawn the fixed deposit amounting to Rs 1 lakh on July 22.Later, Rs 1 lakh was handed over to Johnson Khongsai and his family, in the presence of KhSO-GHQ, KhSO CCPur District and Khongsai Inpi CCPur.
