State's filmmakers nominated for NISDFF

Scaling more heights of success in the field of directing short and documentary film, Kangba Lovejoy and Ashok Veilou have been selected from Northeast India Category for the Nagaon International Short and Film Festival.
Both hailing from Senapati district, young filmmakers Lovejoy was selected for his film " My Father's Letter and Veilou was selected for his film "Look at the Sky".
Kangba Lovejoy who has directed and produced many short films is a native of Katomai village while Ashok Veilou who has won National and International awards in film making is from Purul Atongba village.
CINEMALAY, a primary film institute based in Nagaon of Assam (India) is organising the second edition of Nagaon International Short and Documentary Film Festival 2019.The Institute believes film making as one of the most insightful mediums through which one can recreate the world, and should not have to stick to conventional principles in order to be celebrated.
The festival aims to promote those who create art through the medium of film and continue to push the envelope in artistic creation.
The main goal of the festival is to reduce the distance between filmmakers and audience.
