YAC hold SICO in Imphal West 1st Division League

Today's matches of the ongoing 26th L Sangita Devi Memorial First Division Football League 2019 conducted under the aegis of Imphal West District Football Association at Football Turf Ground, Khuman Lampak saw teams share the spoils following 2-2 draws.
The first match of the day witnessed YAC, Yaiskul come from behind after enjoying earlier lead to settle the game in a 2-2 draw with SICO, Lourembam Leikai.
It was a keen affair as K Arunkumar gave YAC the lead in the 10th minute but Kh Premjit did a commendable work to hit a brace (22', 27') and overturned the lead in SICO's favour.
S Naoba however scored in the 38th minute of the game to pull level for the Yaiskul side and put the contest wide open again.
Although the two sides tried their best to find the difference, defence line on both ends were up to their task to deny any change in the scoreline till the final whistle.
The game also saw G Alex walked off the field after receiving his second yellow in the 70th minute (first yellow card in the 17th minute).
Kh Premjit (52') and Ng Jenendra (60') of SICO and YAC's Lakshmichand (9') and N Sobhashchandra (62') were also yellow carded for their unsportsmanlike behaviours.
The second match of the day was also of the similar fashion as NC Club, Khonghampat came from behind to settle the game in a 2-2 draw with 10-man GC-CRPF, Langjing.
GC-CRPF had most of the earlier proceedings and took only 14th minute to find the breakthrough with the help of Boro before Paokithang Kipgen doubled their advantage in the 26th minute as NC Club struggled hard to find their form.
L Shankar of NC Club however managed to cut the deficit by a goal in the 58th minute to give his team some fresh hope and Suresh N was at his best to help NC Club draw level in the 67th minute after Th Surjit of GC-CRPF who saw his first yellow card of the match in the 41st minute, was sent off the field with another yellow in the 65th minute.
GC CRPF's K Premchand and Th Surjit were also yellow carded respectively in the 64th and the 70th minute.
