NSS training prog ends

The 5 days training on Life Skills, Leadership and Personality Development, which was organised by National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell, Manipur University concluded today in the Court Hall of Manipur University .
As the chief guest of the valedictory function, Vice- Chancellor of MU, Professor Adya Prasad Pandey expressed that the NSS organisation is quite different from other organisation and no organisation is as vast as NSS .
"There should not be any boundary for offering voluntary welfare activities for the society, and I am very happy that our NSS Volunteers are taking advantages of it", the Vice-Chancellor said .
Prof Pandey asked the NSS Cell of Manipur University to adopt and maintain a park of the university campus and for this he will render all his administrative support and cooperation .
It is the NSS Volunteers who can beautify and make the campus clean and green, he asserted .
As the guest of honour, HK Sharma, Regional Director NSS, Guwahati, appreciated Professor Pandey for his initiative, cooperation and support towards NSS Cell of Manipur University .
He urged the volunteers to work with full spirit and enthusiasm throughout the year to make clean and green the environment .
Dr Shitaljit, Cordinator, Dr.L Santosh and Dr.Opendra Singh, Programme Officers, NSS Cell Manipur University were present at the function.
