PMGDISHA training launched

The Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan (PMGDISHA) was launched by District Manager of District eGovernance Society, Bishnupur Moirang CD Block Prashanta Oinam at Tronglaobi Awang Common Service Centre (CSC) today where a total of 190 people were also registered at the Centre .
PMGDISHA is an initiative under Digital India programme to make people (14-60 years of age) in rural areas digitally literate, by providing free computer training at respective CSCs .
The training programme was inaugurated under the supervision of CSC SPV Manipur and attended by District manager Prasanta Oinam, District Consultant PMGDISHA Bishnupur Koijam Elivish and social workers of the district as dignitaries .
People from Torbung Gram Panchayat, Saiton Gram Panchayat, Kwakta Gram Panchayat and Tronglaobi Terakhongshangbi Gram Panchayat were registered on the first day of the training .
Speaking to media persons, Prasanta stated that the initiative aims to provide proper training to one lakh thirty seven thousand rural people before March 2019 .
