Ruling MLAs urge reshuffle

At least 19 MLAs supporting the ruling BJP led coalition Govern- ment have urged Chief Minister N Biren to ensure that Ministerial posts are kept on rotational basis so that MLAs can also be made Ministers which in turn would ensure that the BJP returns with a majority in the next Assembly election scheduled to be held in February 2022.Such a move will go a long way in ensuring that the sitting MLAs return to the Assembly, said the 19 MLAs in a written submission to the Chief Minister.
The 19 MLAs also urged the Chief Minister to effect the reshuffle by dropping all the Ministers and bring in new faces by January 15 next year.
Some of the MLAs included Vungzagin Valte of Thanlon AC, S Bira Singh of Kumbi AC, S Rajen of Lamsang AC, Ksh Biren of Lamlai AC and P Brojen of Wangjing Tentha AC .
