COVID-19 Vaccination for Health Workers begins in Jiribam

Jiribam, February 10 2021:
Along with the rest of the State, the Covid-19 vaccination drive for the health workers has begun on Tuesday at Jiribam 50-bedded hospital at Ningsingkhul, Jiribam.
S Sanjeev Singh, Pharmacist was the person who had received the first shot of vaccine.
The vaccination drive was administrated by Deputy Commissioner, Jiribam W Malemnganba Chenglei along with Addl S P (L/O) H Basulal Singh and Chief Medical Officer Dr E Okendro Singh.

Speaking with the media persons, Dr E Okendro Singh reported today on the first phase of vaccination around 70 health workers including ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers and Supervisors have received the shots of vaccination.
He added, till now there is no any an adverse effect or reactions of vaccination to the beneficiaries.
He also said the vaccination would be helpful to protect the people of Jiribam from the Corona Virus in future.
