AMADA celebrates its 6th Foundation day

Imphal, December 20 2011:
The All Manipur Anti drug Association (AMADA) celebrated its 6th Foundation Day under the theme "Let us save our threatened identity from Narcotic Imperialism" and "Self protection self responsibility self realization against drug abuse and illicit trafficking" at its head office at Keishampat today.
The function was graced by G Satyabati, Director, Department of Social Welfare and M Padamani Leima, President AMADA as the Chief Guest and President respectively.
RK Ibungosana, Superintendent, NCB (Regional Unit Imphal), Dr H Angomcha, Psychiatrist, Bishnupur District Hospital and Haji Muheiuddin, Secretary AIM H.O Lilong were also present as the Guests of Honour.
Speaking on the occasion G Satyabati pointed out that though the drug users in the society worship God according to their beliefs, they are dishonest people.

Not honouring the teachings of his religion and using drugs is a clear sign that he is dishonest.
If we follow a religion wholeheartedly, we can desist from using drugs which will ultimately destroy the whole society. She also elaborately cautioned all concern on drugs and its ill effects to the student community in schools.
A slight mistake could turn the tide upside down.
