Free eye camp

Imphal, September 15 2016:
A free eye camp was organised by Shija Eye Care Foundation in collaboration with Kangla Siphai Youth Organisation, Imphal East district at Kangla Siphai community hall today.
Altogether, 170 patients were examined for eye related problems by Dr Sarda Ch, consultant ophthalmologist along with other supporting staff members of Shija Eye Care Foundation.
21 cases of cataract infection, 21 cases of pterygium, 6 cases of squint, 1 case of ptosis and 2 cases of cyst, were diagnosed during the camp.
7 cataract and 5 pterygium detected patients were transported to Shija Eye Care Foundation for the corrective surgery on the same day.
