BJP workers stage protest demonstration outside the State Legislative Assembly

Outside the Legislative Assembly state BJP Workers staged protest demonstration demanding revocation of the cancellation of the Manipur Police Constable recruitment test for batch 2013 .
State BJP Workers who tried to storm at the state legislative Assembly today morning when the monsoon session is in full swing, today clashed with the police at Khuyathong junction at around 11 .30 am.
After the district Administration of both Imphal East and Imphal West had impose curfew in the periphery of State Legislative Assembly to prevent any unwanted incident while the sitting is on, strong presence of police was seen around the State legislative assembly since last night.

The BJP workers were also demanding resignation of the Home Minister on moral ground and cancellation of the ongoing fresh recruitment test for Manipur Police Constable being underway Pangei Police Training center Since August 30 .
As the BJP workers instead of retreating confronted with the police by even pulling away the barricades, the police team fired rounds of tear gas shell and smoke bomb to disperse them.
Workers including female volunteers with the party flags shouted slogans denouncing the decision of the state government for cancellation of the Police recruitment test.
Report said the BJP workers started gathering from 10:30 am at the residence of BJP MLA Khumukcham Joykishan at Thangmeiband.
From there the BJP workers marched towards the Manipur legislative assembly where they confronted the police team at Khuyathong.
On the other another of BJP worker led by former DGP Y Joykumar also proceeded towards State Assembly from Sanakeithel area.
As soon as they reached Sanakeithel Junction a police team stopped them at the area.
