KRF PRO Lincoln Kuki maintained that on May 10, three persons identified as Abung (Dayanand), Premananda and Bishwal were apprehended on "suspicious ground and put into interrogation under the custody of the outfit" .
Earlier, the three had stated that they were labourers working for the construction of Mapao Christian School and lived near the new school building construction site at Mapao Khullen Family line but later Bishwal revealed all facts which was also recorded, said the outfit PRO.
He said that during the course of interrogation, Abung and Premananda died but their deaths were not caused due to "intentional" action, clarified the outfit's PRO.

He said that Bishwal had revealed that Abung and Premananda were members of KCP (Nando) faction and also disclosed that Abung was a Corporal while Premananda was a Lance Corporal in the outfit.
Bishwal claimed that he had been compelled to join the outfit only two/three days back since the outfit had warned him to dire consequences if he did not comply, the PRO further alleged.
According to him, Bishwal also revealed that his family member had no knowledge regarding his involvement with the outfit.
Bishwal further disclosed that the duo were in possession of one big bag containing huge arms and ammunition including explosive device which they handed over to one unidentified Nepali man and again warned him not to disclosed the same to anyone by their group, said the PRO.
The outfit's PRO also alleged that cadres of KCP had frequently resorted to "firing and extortion" in Mapao area and it was well known by the public as well as the security forces.
Lincoln Kuki urged the people not take the issue in a communal way since it was not done with intent to kill while conveying the outfit's condolence to the bereaved families and relatives.
He further appealed all, particularly the Meetei community not to resort to any communal activities which can perturb the prevailing peaceful coexistence.
Meanwhile, KRF also condemned the highhandedness of Assam Rifles and state security forces in apprehending seven cadres in connection with the death of Abung and Premananda while slamming the security forces for using communal tone.
The outfit's leader also appealed the Government to release the apprehended cadres who had no connection with the incident at the earliest.
