Three states in Northeast have already implemented the ILP system in their states because the Indian Constitution allows them to do so, said locals at the sit-in protest staged at Community Hall Palace Compound.

People of Uripok constituency on Sunday rushed to the residence of local MLA Laishram Nandakumar but, as the MLA was not available at his home, staged a sit-in protest at his gate.

People shouted slogans like 'implement ILP in Manipur, people do not want Ibobi Govt., resign MLA Ministers who could not implement ILP, punish police personnel who killed student.'

People of Uripok Tourangbam Leikai, Uripok Sorbon Ningel RIMS Road, Uripok Ningthoukhongjam Leikai, UripokYambem Leikai, Uripok Khumanthem and Yambem Maning Leikai, Uripok Khamlangba Machin and Khamlingba Community Hall, Uripok Achom Leikai, Naoremthong Khullem Leikai, Laishram Leikai, NG College Leirak staged sit-in protests at their localities.

A joint rally of Uripok side marched towards Ima Keithel but was stopped by police personnel.

Film Forum, Khwai Lamphel Women United Development Organisation and 12 Clubs, Meira Paibis staged sit-in protest from Lamphel Sana Keithel to Thangmeiband Khumanthem Leikai.

Later at around 2 pm different peoples, meirapaibis with the 12 clubs and artists of Film Forum led by Chairman Surjakanta blocked the road at Thangmei band Khumanthem Leikai, formed human chain and shouted many slogans.

People of Thangmeiband Kendra also formed human chains and shouted many slogans regarding the implementation of ILP in Manipur.

People of Moirangkhom Bokul Makhong, Nagamapal Kangjabi, Nagamapal Phougeisangbam Leikai, Chingabam Leikai, Lamabam Leikai, Keishampat Mutum Leirak, Thouda Bhabok Leikai, Takhel Leikai, Konjeng Hajari Leikai, Khangabok Part 1 Bangsibodhon Meira Paibi Lup, Nambol Bazar Women Vendors Association, Kamakhya Social Youth Club and meira paibis of Hiyangthang, Khohampat Apunba MeiraPaibiLup, an apex body of Khonghampat Awang Leikai, Khonghampat Mayai Leikai and Khonghampat MantrI Leikai staged sit-in protest at their localities.

Peoplein Bishnupur District also rushed to the residence of Kumbi constituency MLA Sanasam Bira Singh at Wangoo while shouting different slogans.

People vowed to support the ongoing ILP system movement until a proper law to safeguard indigenous people of the state have been passed.

The campaign was initiated by Wapokpi Athletic Rural Development Club Ithai Wapokpi (WARD) whereWapok piIramdam Lamjing Lamtak Club (WILL) and SarankhongYouths Club KumbiThingel Mamang Leikai participated apart from others.

Meanwhile, Keishampat Irom Pukhri Mapal Social Club and Meira Paibis have donated Rs.10,000 to Robinhood's parents as a tribute to the martyr.

Human Resource Innovative Front (HRIF) Heingang Kendra also donated some amount to the family of Robinhood and Sanglakpam Sunildro, who got injured in the JCILPS led mass movement.
