Imphal, December 12 2015 :
A written test for recruitment of staff nurses for RIMS was held today at different exam centres under strict surveillance.
Different sets of question papers were sent from outside the State and they were stored inside a locker in an office room of the RIMS Director.
Minutes before the test started, the locker was opened by RIMS Director Dr Rita, Medical Superintendent Dr Amuba and Dean of Academy AK Joy in front of media persons.
The question paper boxes were wrapped by jute boxes over transparent polythene layers under which the names of exam centres were embossed.
The iron boxes containing question papers were taken to different exam centres and handed over to officials in-charge of the exam centres in time.
Director Dr Rita said that stringent measures were taken up for the written test to avoid any form of leakage and manipulations.
Medical Superintendent Dr Amuba remarked that this was the first time such stringent measures were taken up for a recruitment test.
He said that flying squads were constituted and monitoring cells were opened to ensure that there was no room for using unfair means during the test.
