KSO, KWU assist 'Swachh Pariksha'

Underlining the importance of Senapati Deputy Commissioner's "Swachh Pariksha" particularly in Sadar Hills, Senapati district, Kuki Students' Organization (KSO), Sadar Hills and Kuki Women Union (KWU), Sadar Hills today toughened the 'Clean Examination Mission' by inspecting all HSLC exam centres within Sadar Hills except Motbung and Saikul private centres.
A four member team of KSO, Sadar Hills and Kuki Women Union, Sadar Hills lead by Thangminlen Kipgen, president, KSO, Sadar Hills and Hatneng, president KWU Sadar Hills visited Elite Higher Secondary School, Kangpokpi Private Centre, HM Higher Secondary School, Keithelmanbi Private Centre and Songpao-Lhinghat Memorial Higher Secondary School, Sapormeina Private Centre today.
Speaking at the sidelines of the inspection, KSO Sadar Hills president extolled the commitment of Jacintha Lazarus, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Senapati in implementing "Swachh Pariksha" or "Clean Examination" mission in the district.
Jacintha's mission for 'Swachh Pariksha' is fundamentally a drive to wipe out unmerited practice during examination in Senapati district, asserted Thangminlen Kipgen.
He expressed hope that unfair practices during examination in the district would be minimized next year with Jacintha's "Swachh Pariksha" mission, which, he added, has been a long awaited hope of the people.
"It is equally important for the student community and parents including the respective school authorities and CSOs to ensure proper implementation and success of the mission", added Thangminlen.
He further pointed out that examinations, particularly in Sadar Hills, still needs to be improved.
The presidents of the two organisations opined that the role of the Education Department is exceptionally important in the eradication of unfair means during examination apart from cooperation and support from the local administration and civil society organizations.
